During the presorting process, FlexMail generates the output that is required by Royal Mail. After presorting a mailing, there are also some additional presort fields added to the Datasheet that you can include on mail pieces.
The generated documents can be reviewed and printed by selecting Presort Documents in the Postal Presort group on the Postal tab. In the Presort Documents window that appears you can switch between the documents by selecting the tabs at the bottom of that window. From this window you can also print the documents. You can use Page setup to change the label and paper sizes if necessary. The contents of the documents can not be changed.
The additional documents that are generated when you presort a mailing are:
Presort labels, displaying the labels for the selected container type which have been created for your mailing.
Line Listing, displaying a table that shows one line for each selection with the numbers of items and containers.
Project Summary, giving a summary of the parameters set for the projects and the results of the presortation including a calculation of the costs.
Also, after presorting your mailing list, additional data fields will be added to the datasheet that you can use on your output or to generate print pauses. For more information about these fields, see Presort data fields.
