At the end of the presort process, FlexMail will add some presort data fields, that are linked to each address. They are displayed on your datasheet as additional columns and can be used to be printed with your addresses. You can add the fields to your envelope or label by defining it as text as you would any other text you want to appear on your envelope.
There is no requirement to show any of these fields on your envelope or label. It may, however, be advantageous to use one or more of these fields in the address, to facilitate spotting of selection breaks at the end of the production line.
If you wish to use it, then it is recommended that you print it above the name and address in order not to confuse optical reading equipment used by Royal Mail.
The presort data fields available are:
PS_BndID, ID number of the bundle.
PS_BndMark, Bundle marker as defined in the Presort Wizard.
PS_CntID, ID number of the container.
PS_CntMark, Container marker as defined in the Presort Wizard.
PS_SSC, Standard Selection Code. This is the numeric coding from the Royal Mail Selection Files which uniquely identifies each selection.
NOTE: The appearance of the markers depend on the definition entered in the Break Marking window in the Presort Wizard. In this window you can also define on which addresses the markers will be displayed.
