By performing a simple sort, you can sort records in ascending or descending order (not both) by selecting one or more fields on the Datasheet.
To sort the data:
Click on the field or fields you want to use for sorting records on the Datasheet. You can select two or more fields, by pressing CTRL and click the additional fields you want to sort on.
The order in which you click the fields determine the sort order of the data. For example, to sort on the LastName field first and then on the FirstName field, first select the LastName field and then the FirstName field. If you select two or more adjacent columns at the same time, they will be added to your sort order from left to right.
Do one of the following:
To sort in ascending order, click Ascending in the Sort & Filter group on the Data Tools tab.
To sort in descending order, click Descending in the Sort & Filter group on the Data Tools tab.
FlexMail sorts the data in the order specified. To remove the sort, click Clear All Sorts.
