You can quickly and easy build a filter by selecting one or more fields on the Datasheet that specify the condition that the records must meet.
Filter records by selecting values in the datasheet:
In a field on the datasheet, find one instance of the value you want records to contain in order to be included in the filter's results.
You can select up to 255 fields in a filter. To select two or more fields, press CTRL and click the additional fields you want to include in the filter. Selecting additional fields in the same row, results in a 'And' relation, selecting fields in different rows extents the filter with an 'Or' relation.
Activate the filter by clicking Selection in the Sort & Filter group on the Data Tools tab.
Select Including in the menu that appears.FlexMail will update the Datasheet, showing only the records that meet the filter condition.
Notes:You can also switch to the Advanced Filter/Sort window to change the criteria, including specifying alternative criteria (one criteria or another).
When you save a project, FlexMail saves the filter you created. It will automatically be reapplied the next time you open the project.
You can also filter for records that do not have a certain value. After selecting the fields you want in your filter, click Selection and Excluding in the menu that appears.
